Need for Speed: Underground 2 Windows Gameplay

Patch 1.2, the Widescreen fix, and NoCD have all been tested and found to function without issue on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10. If you're using Windows 10 or 11, you can run into a few hiccups when playing the game.
Insert the virtual CD. WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/120%, Daemon Tools Lite, or any other disc image mounting software is required. Start the installation (if autorun doesn't work, run Setup.exe from the disc's contents). Click "Register later" to dismiss the Electronic Arts registration box. Mount the image of CD2 when the installation wizard asks for it. To mount the CD2 disc image, you must first unmount the CD1 disc image from your virtual drive. FOR INSTANCE, if CD1 was mounted in virtual drive G, CD2 must also be placed in drive G. A "Please insert correct CD-ROM" notice may appear after installation; if this occurs, choose "OK" to continue. Put off starting the game for now. It is also advised that you install DirectX 9 from the CD (if you're using Windows 10, you'll need to activate DirectPlay; for instructions, check out this or this article).
